This week's Patriot League Media Day is the unofficial kickoff to the pre-season in advance of the season opener in four weeks, and finds the Georgetown Hoyas in a familiar place.
The Hoyas received just 17 votes from the league's coaches and sports information directors participating in the poll, the 12th time since 2001 the Hoyas have been tabbed last:
Three players were cited for pre-season recognition, including senior Matt Buckman, senior punter Henry Darmstadter, and sophomore Jethro Francois, named as the league's special teams "non-specialist" player for his numerous contributions on the field.
