A former teammate of linebacker Nick Parrish, DE Marcus Chitman is Georgetown's third signee from Dallas Jesuit in the last five seasons.

One of only two private schools in Texas' 1,050 school University Interscholastic League, Jesuit must play one level above its enrollment, placing it along some of the state's top programs. The Rangers finished 6-5 in 2007, qualifying for the 5A playoffs for a second straight season. A two year starter at defensive end, Chitman had 34 tackles and 20 assists, with 15 tackles for loss. He was selected as a 7-5A honorable mention all-district selection in 2007.
