Weight: 190
High School: Trinity HS
Home Town: Euless, TX
Highlights: All-District, 3rd team All-State
National Ranking: None

With 105 wins in its last ten seasons, Trinity HS has developed into one of Texas' strongest football programs. Coming off a state championship in 2007, Georgetown landed a potential star from Trinity in DB Wayne Heimuli.

At 5-11, Heimuli may have been considered small for some I-A recruiters, but he makes up for it with relentless tackling and defensive effort. Over his two seasons at Trinity, Heimuli accounted for a remarkable 216 tackles at defensive back, relying on quickness and tenacity to break up a number of rushing or passing plays. Heimuli's key tackle on a third and goal forced a second overtime in the Texas 5A semifinal, which Trinity defeated Plano 30-27 before 30,000 at Texas Stadium.

Heimuli was named first team all-district in 2006 and 2007, and was named to a third team All-State team at the conclusion of Trinity's 2007 season.
