A three sport star at L.D. Bell HS, Jayah Kaisamba is one of four Georgetown recruits from the competitive football programs of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, all of whom played in the same 5A district.
One of only five returnees on defense for Bell, Kaisamba completed a three year run at Bell with steady improvement in the secondary. An honorable mention all-district performer as a sophomore, he made second team in 2006 (53 tackles, two interceptions) and first team his senior season, where he had just under 50 tackles with four interceptions.
Kaisamba tested at a 4.53 in the 40, a 415 lb. squat, and a 35.8" vertical jump. His 3.82 grade average brought interest from the likes of Duke and Georgia Tech, but he opted to sign with Georgetown where he is expected to challenge for a position in the secondary.
